Lindsay Lohan Has a Busy Week: She's Hosting 'SNL' and on 'Today'

Just weeks ago I wrote that I hoped Lindsay Lohan could overcome her troubles, get cleaned up and mount a successful comeback into show business. I'm still not sure her newfound drama-free life will take, but I hope so. This week, Lindsay is everywhere, it seems. She has a huge interview with Matt Lauer on the Today show AND she's also hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend. And the whole world will be watching to see, as I will, whether Lindsay can pull this all off.Earlier today, SNL released a series of new promos for Lindsay Lohan's show. The short bits feature a (very blonde) LiLo teaming with SNL cast member Keenan Thompson to promote her stint -- her fourth time hosting Saturday Night Live, by the way. So far, so good. She looks a little older than her 25 years, but she's funny enough.

At least she's seemingly having a good time poking fun at herself, right? Because at this point, what else can she do? I've enjoyed Lindsay's past appearances on SNL. It will be interesting to see how far she takes this in terms of making fun of her own antics. Will SNL go there? Yes, probably. Stay tuned.

As for tomorrow morning's Today show appearance, apparently LiLo will explain that she's definitely "clean and sober" and not really into the whole partying scene anymore. She tells Matt Lauer she's "become more of a homebody" and isn't going out and getting crazy the way she used to. I sure hope that's true. In the meantime, I'll be at home being, you know, a homebody, on Saturday night, waiting to see exactly how well LiLo does with SNL.
