Now I remember that line from Shakespeare -- "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy ..."

This may be true if ones philosophy is science. Science exists to explain, and what it can't explain, there are some -- well, many, bad students of science who will swear to High Heaven that what they can't explain can not exist.

In Shakespeare's day, people thought ghosts were real, as real as a favorite uncle, who instead of going off to China somewhere and never returning or writing, passed over on the other side, and was a better relative than one who went off to China, because he returned and kept returning. Well, really he never left. There are a few -- well some, people who think that ghosts are with us, or with them, today.

Because I wrote a nostalgic review about Jamaican Red Stripe lager and Jamaican food, I looked at Red Stripes ads on YouTube. They're cheeky and funny, and absolutely succeed in making Red Stripe's brand known. Whether you're drinking a brew in Jamaica or in Seattle, that characteristic squat brown bottle with the broad red stripe on the label simply means exactly what the Red Stripe catch phrase says, "Hooray, beer!"

Royal Wedding - Who Cares?

If one is a Brit, he has a reason to care. William Windsor maybe be a future head of state of his country. If one is Canadian, same reason. If one is from a country that is a member of the Commonwealth, young Mr. Windsor may some day be head of the Commonwealth.

Chris Brown Apologizes

Chris Brown said that he had a bad morning on Tuesday, the day he went emotional and trashed the ABC News show "Good Morning America" dressing room and smashed a window, after the co-host Robin Roberts repeatedly, grilled him about the 2009 domestic violence incident with his then-girlfriend, Rihanna. Chris Brown said that for his outburst,, he's very sorry.

Chris Brown made the apology Wednesday on the BET music video countdown show, "106 & Park."

Chris Brown said, "First of all, I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, or anybody who was offended or really looked, and (was) disappointed at my actions, Because I'm disappointed in the way I acted.

Celebrity President Trump?

Donald Trump for President? Please, he makes Sarah Palin look good. He makes the Koch Brothers seem like okay dudes. He has more baggage than Paris Hilton. Yesterday, Wednesday morning, he dropped by on the ABC "The View," to chat up the ladies of show about his views on his possible run for President, on the Republican line. Huh? Huh?

Why was the Donald on "The View?" Really? He came out like a sit down, stand-up, comic guy, telling political jokes which were dead pan jokes, but not meant to be funny, but serious stuff about what is wrong and what needs to be fixed. He did this opening to show that he is profound? I kept thinking: 'The Donald, where's the punch line? The Donald?'

The Donald came across as a tough New York wise guy who says he has a heart. Yeah, right?

She was a beauty in her time. She defined beauty. She was the beautiful woman. She defined glamor. She was the role model for celebrity. She was a great actress. Check out "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?", "Butterfield 8," "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" and "Suddenly, Last Summer." She was Elizabeth Taylor, super star, one of those bigger than life persons who was a dominate force in popular culture of the 1950s and mid-1960s. She made good films, but became more famous than her films. She became who she was Elizabeth Taylor, personality, celebrity, rich, and interesting for being Elizabeth Taylor.

So what happened with Chris Brown? Yesterday, Tuesday morning, Chris Brown out promoting his new album, FAME (Forgiving All My Enemies). went on the ABC morning show, Good Morning America, and anchor Robin Roberts ambushed him? And he trashed a GMA dressing room? Broke a window with a chair? Why? He took an attitude about being asked about a past childish, stupid, brutal attack? The beat down on Rihanna.

Chris Brown has answered to a court of law for his crime against Rihanna and wants to put it behind him. And so when he was interviewed by GMA's Robin Roberts, he stomped off and acted out like a little big kid, trashing a Tv show's dressing room.

What has happened to the former National Football League all-time star Lawrence Taylor is tragic. A hall of famer stumbled. He had an sexual encounter with a very street wise, sixteen year old girl prostitute, whom stated in an affidavit that Lawrence Taylor asked her of her age and she lied, said she was nineteen. Yesterday, Lawrence Taylor was sentenced to six years probation. He pled guilty to patronizing an underage prostitute.

The police were investigation the prostitute's pimp and Lawrence Taylor, who had a single encounter with the prostitute, got caught up in the investigation.

It's comic relief time in Britain, so the fans of shows get a little bit of their favorites actors and characters, doing a funny bit for charity. Dr. Who fans get a little treat from the good doctor and from his companion(s).

I am a Dr. Who fan and have been a fan from the time of the First Doctor. I caught all the old shows on my local PBS station. I've followed the doctor over the years and am up on the current doctor, play well by the actor Matt Smith.

Why am I a Doctor Who fan? Well, let me see?.

Also at a charity auction, I presume, some dude called Nick from Jersey spent 78 thousand pounds for the see through; dress that Kate Middleton wore to woo Prince William. See the video.

Was it a dress or something else? And, why was it really put up for auction? What am I doing?

For doing too much of nothing. This is not personal. It is not their fault that they hog space more than, or as much as Charlie Sheen. Charlie Sheen is an entertainer. William and Kate are just William and Kate, or Will and Kate. Not two nobodies, but two bodies dressed up in somebodies clothes.

The two of them get mentioned as much as some dictators whom have imposed too long on their people.

Every news site on the web -- Well, almost everyone has a section dedicated to news about them, about them doing absolutely nothing.

A kid in San Francisco jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge and lived. Why did he jump? Because it was a stunt, done for kicks. He is probably just some lucky dumb ass kid. He is a transfer student, probably with not enough friends, and who wanted to get notice, said he wanted to be cool. He probably didn't know what he was doing. Some other kid or kids dared him, and so this kid, a seventeen year old high school boy, on a school field trip to the bridge, jumped.

Mel Gibson and American Justice?

Today, Friday, Mel Gibson pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor spousal battery charge. Mr. Gibson, agreeing to a plea bargain, was given three years probation and ordered to attend 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling. He said he entered the plea of no contest because it is in the best interest of his children. He wanted to avoid a trial and have the whole sordid relationship that he had with his ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, dragged out again in public

Okay, Mel Gibson was in a bad relationship, with a woman, who allegedly tried to shake him down for money, and maybe she did, and maybe she didn't leak to the media, the so-called secret tapes of their conversations, conservations which were often one-sided ,with Mel Gibson behaving like a jerk. Maybe she is as much a jerk as he is? Maybe not?

Charlie Sheen Fired, On Fire and Fired Up?

Monday, Charlie Sheen was fired from his two million dollars per episode, twenty two episodes a year, forty four million dollar gig, as the star of the hit TV-sit com, `Two and a Half Men' Warner Brothers the owners of the sit com released a statement that said,; "After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen's services on 'Two and a Half Men' effective immediately."

Charlie Sheen is threatening to sue. Figures.

Charlie Sheen texted the world and his fans the message, "f... them. they lose."

Why Explain A laughing baby?

Another Internet sensation, another viral video, another laughing baby. Another cute kid that gets the tired, cranky, world smiling.

Yeah, dancing babies, laughing babies, as long as the dancing and laughing looks real, as long, as true happy joy flows from the innocent soul of a tot, there is the power to make the world stop for a moment.

Well, to make a person stop for a moment, to take a time out, to relax a little, to take a reprieve from the pressure that come from just living, from just sitting up in a chair, from just watching a screen.

Pressures?

The pressures of the ordinary world, pressing around, and of a person knowing that there are so many things coming at a person, and sometimes one too many, and; then, he sees and hears a baby laugh.

Charlie Sheen: Joke of the Month?

The Charlie Sheen media circus! Are we laughing at or with Charlie Sheen? He is so outrageous that he is the joke of the month. America loves him. So-called cool America, the with-it, the let the water ride across the broad part of your nose America, gets a kick out of laughing at him. This America stomps her feet, cracking her sides, with laughter, at the crazy things he says, and she shakes her head and says, "That Charlie Sheen, wild and crazy guy."

And there is a large segment of America who is just outraged by him. A large part of the media is in this party of Americans. This group of offended people just can't wait to repeat, or replay, or act out, the latest outrageous thing that he has said for the day. Well, what this group does is no more than to carry on with tradition -- its normal media hypocrisy.

The Problem With UFOs: No One Wants To Believe?

And so the British government has released more UFO files? So the UK, New Zealand, The U.S? Who else? Who hasn't released UFO files?

I think that there is something to UFOs. I would like to believe that all UFOs are fake, or are explainable, and every UFO can become an identified flying object, perhaps a secret American air craft or a child's wayward balloon, but definitely not anything extra-terrestrial. But I suspect that all UFOs can't be easily explained away, as something from this planet or from people's imaginations..
